| Abstrakt: | SUMARRIES. The leafcasting of documents is more and more done in a mechanical way. As this operation is done in an aqueous area, some contemporary manuscripts containing unstable inks cannot be treated without an initial fixation. The aim of our research consists in choosing the best product by also ensuring its harmlessness to the paper. Sandofix was chosen. CONCLUSION. It was necessary to find a solution to avoid unstable inks of some manuscripts to spread during all aqueous treatment. Here we have proposed a satisfactory solution for soluble inks in water, but nevertheless we have to resolve the problem of soluble inks in organic solvents. These solvents are frequently used in restoration, particularly in some deacidification processes. Let's note that, for this type of ink we can meet some difficulties. |
