The programme contains the discussion of a comprehensive range of problems connected with conservation of saved library collections, and thus: ˙ the current condition of saved library collections, ˙ the state of preservation of the dried collections, ˙ the process of drying the frozen collections, ˙ disinfection of collections, ˙ preparation of conservation treatment documentation of the saved library collections combined with the setting up of a database in the MAK system, ˙ specification of conservation treatment steps and the necessary funds, and ˙ supervision over the actual conservation work.
