| Abstract: | Summaries. The equipment for paper splitting was developed in cooperation between the German Library in Leipzig and the company Becker Verfahrenstechnik GmbH. In June 1994 the paper splitting machine was put into operation in the German Library, Leipzig. With full mechanisation, the old process of paper splitting may be accorded a completely new status in paper restoration. |
