| Abstract: | CONCLUSION. Monomer analysis by CE/UV and comparison of the data with statistical models together with enzymic degradation studies of CMS have been demonstrated to be powerful tools to elucidate the substitution pattern in the AGU and give some indications on the distribution of CM groups on the polymer level. The data obtained is in good correlation with the consistence of the CMS during synthesis and the water solubility of isolated products. |
