| Abstract: | Summaries. The changes in some mechanical properties during a conservation treatment of brittle paper of a book published in 1883 are reported. The paper was treated with Mg(HCO3)2 and Wei T'o deacidification processes followed by sizing with 0.5%, 1 and 2.5% methylcellulose and 1% gelatin. |
